Richwood Electronics Co., Ltd. was founded in 1990, as an electronics component Representatives/Distributors. We aim to create new opportunities by introducing the state-of-art technology and products to customers in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines. To so do, Richwood offers a one-stop total solution to facilitate design and reduce substantial development life cycle and cost.

In recent years, given the US-China trade wars, Richwood also serves as an Asia stocking warehouse and provide quality control and logistics services. This greatly reduces tariffs and shortens the lead-time to delivery products to customers.

SemiQ (previously Global Power Technologies Group) has released to production of its new 3rd generation silicon carbide (SiC) diode family featuring blocking voltages of 650V, 1200V and 1700V with forward current 8A up to 50A per chip. 

These Gen-3 products represent a huge improvement in reliability, device ruggedness, surge current capability, and moisture resistance. Extensive qualification testing includes over eight million device hours of HTRB and H3TRB.
